Framed Tarot Card - The Serpent
Framed Tarot Card - The Serpent
There is something about old things that makes you wonder where they have been.
These hand-engraved brass tarot cards are inspired by Mildred Payne’s Oracle deck, each one carefully set within a vintage brass frame. They have the feeling of something unearthed from an old cabinet—kept close, consulted in candlelight, and perhaps forgotten for a few years too long.
The brass will darken and age with time, gathering its own marks and patina along the way. A small relic for those drawn to things with a little history, a little mystery, and a story that may never be entirely told.
Card #36
“an intimidating serpent coils its body and prepares to strike. Five heads emerged from its tail., reminding the beast of the souls he has conquered in battle.”
Dark meaning:
Selfish aggression. Material gain or power achieved through the cost of others. Exploitation. Dictator or authoritarian ruler.
Light meaning:
May represent a leader who recognizes their power comes from the people. An aggressively strong organization or political party.
