There is something about old things that makes you wonder where they have been.

These hand-engraved brass tarot cards are inspired by Mildred Payne’s Oracle deck, each one carefully set within a vintage brass frame. They have the feeling of something unearthed from an old cabinet—kept close, consulted in candlelight, and perhaps forgotten for a few years too long.

The brass will darken and age with time, gathering its own marks and patina along the way. A small relic for those drawn to things with a little history, a little mystery, and a story that may never be entirely told.

Card #3
“a housemaid, tired of the troublesome weeds, growing wild in her garden, proceeds to be held the plants with a quick snip of her pruning shears.”

Dark meaning:
“Death of one's idea ideas. Someone cutting you down to size. A critical or destructive person.”

Light meaning:
“getting rid of problems once and for all! Taking personal responsibility. Eliminating negativity.”
